Still ploughing through this book (from time to time) but having a problem knowing who is doing/did the ride. In some instances, the book seems to be in 3rd person -referring to them as Jason and Ben- then in others, the books slips into 1st person, seeming to be told from Ben's perspective. It almost seems that that the book was written by a third person entirely. Incredibly confusing and I probably won't finish this book, unfortunately.
If you were to bike tour in Europe it would be somewhat helpful.
I had a hard time figuring out WHO was biking and were the wives following the route &train travel with the guys ?
There I was thinking this was one of the other amazing books from adventurers and their bike trips around the world, and it turned out to be a month-long-vacation including lots of hostels and trains.
This is a great book to read if you have any interest in bicycling tours. Ben and Josh share their experiences while on their trip
in Europe. They incorporate a lot of humor along with actual "life experiences" in the book. It is hard to put this book down because you are anxious
to get to the next experience. I would highly recommend this book. Gwen Owens
Any one who wants to do touring need to read both book very entertaining , practical motivates you easy enjoyable reading
